Oceanic GEO - poor timekeeping - return it?

This might be a moot point, as it's about a year old, but I'd like to return my Geo....

My Oceanic Geo lost over 30 minutes in the last year. Now... that's only 4 seconds per day lost, but this is a quartz watch, right? Shouldn't it be WAY more accurate than this?

Yea - I know that a $6,000 Rolex should fall within COSC standards of -4/+6 seconds per day, and my Geo is within those standards, but still. ;)

Maybe it's on "island time" which seems to move slower than regular time.
