I'm about to pull the trigger on Neptune Space G and a frame but have heard good things about the Neptune 3. In the US, the 3 is currently only available in a kit with a bunch of stuff I don't need. Does anyone know when the 3 will be available as mask only? Is there a compelling reason to hold out for the 3 over the Space G?

Thanks

This may be an old thread but the answer still applies now. The neptune 3 basic is available now however they cut some corners on it that I'm less then thrilled about because the pictures and descriptions aren't very clear on what isn't included on webaites. Wasn't until I took there class that basically a sales pitch that I seen this that clearly lays out how barebones the basic really is.
No extender frame ($90), surface air valve($65), no regulator adjustment knob(this is the only non purchasable upgrade), no tabs for quick release(cant purchase tabs), no nose adjustment inserts (tool $15)
