I posted a question about dive shops on the east end and Ocean frontiers was recommended. I went to their web site, and saw the dive packages but had some questions. They have a phone number, and an e-mail, I called them and e-mailed them. They have not returned my phone call or my e-mail? Is this normal? don't want to get there and not have any way to dive. dates we are going is October 25-November 1st. I told them we were staying at Morritts. Is there a problem with that because they have a dive shop too? I just have herd good things about Ocean Frontiers and nothing about Morritts.?? Is this a busy time the week we are comming?
thanks Lynne:)

There's no problem staying at Morritt's and diving with OF. OF picks up people there all the time.

Try again, they are very service oriented and it wouldn't be like them to ignore someone. Stuff happens.

I'll second these - I'm leaving Sunday for Morritt's and diving with OF. I submitted an online request/reservation to OF and they responded within an hour or two.

So how was Morrit's anf diving with Ocean Frontiers? We are going there this week, staying at Morritss and also diving with OF. Hopefully the hurricane doesn't kill our trip.

I would recommend you reconfirm diving reservations with OF for the short term.

One of their dive boats sank at its mooring during Hurricane Paloma. They have refloated it and are working on getting it sorted out.

I have no idea how busy they are scheduled to be, but they may be down a boat unless they can rent one from elsewhere in the interim.

Other damage around East End was very minor and should not affect your trip in any way.

Steve, and O.F., was one of the most professional dive operators I have EVER dove with. Nice boat, loads of service if you want it, terrific dive briefings and very good diving with really cool swim throughs.

Thanks Drew/Del,

We will give them a call today to see if there will be any problems.

Well we are back from our vacation, they did respond to us, Must have been a one time thing. We dove with them they are GREAT. Best dive op we have ever used. The weather was not great, but alot better than it is now. hope nothing was seriously damaged. It is a great island to dive.

lynnemari,

I'm glad you had a good experience. We've had nothing but the best from them over the last ten years. Even as they have gotten bigger, they still seem to get great staff and maintain the personal feel.
