Subject:Hugh Bradner dies at 92....The wet suit inventor.

Many of the early divers in California knew Dr. Bradner and a few were privileged to dive and socialize with him. He was truly a brilliant but humble gentleman who loved life and lived it to the fullest. His wet suit allowed the world to be comfortable in the water.

OC's contribution to the Wet Suit!! Yep it started in then rual OC..

Southern California, especially at that time rual OC was a major contributor to the development of the wet suit concept...A few questions :

Orange County California:

**** What did an OC company contribute?

**** What was the companies' name?

**** Where located? (City)

**** Where did early divers obtain wet suit material?

**** What supplies were needed to construct an early wet suit?

**** What was the cost of supplies? $$$

****What was the name of the wet suit glue?

**** How were the patterns developed?

**** What was the thickness of the material?

******Bonus--
~~Who else in OC developed a Wet suit prior to Bradner et al?

~~~What was the material?
~~~~What colors were offered?

~~~~~Where were they located?
~~~~~~Why did they go out of business?

You should all know that diving began in So Cal--in SD, OC, LA & Ventura. It migrated to the rest of the US...this history of OCs contribution will soon be lost forever.

start guessing...
