Outer Banks Dive Shop in Nags. I went out with them last month and things went great. I'm heading down on Monday the 17th to dive with them on Tuesday.
McCainiac - I'm going to be diving with them next week - what were conditions like? What kind of exposure suit were you wearing, I'm getting conflicting information about what I will need.
Thanks
What days are you going? I wore my Mares 5-4-3 suit with boots and a hood and I was fine. The water temps were in the mid 50's on the bottom the day I went.
I'm diving the 18th and 19th (Cutter and Advance). I own equipment for warm water (3mm full suit) and cold water (7mm full suit), but not the in-between. I do have a 5/3 hooded vest, so I'm thinking my 3mm full with the hooded vest, my 5mm boots and 2mm gloves should do the trick.
Hummmmm. I would maybe say your 7mm just becasue my body seems to always run hot?!? I'm diving the Advanced on Tuesday so I'll see you then. You going down with friends and family or alone?
I'm traveling to NC with a bunch of non-divers. I tend to be 'warm' in general as well. hmmmm.... what to do.... what to do.... That 7mm is a pain, not to mention the additional weights it needs. I appreciate the advice and look forward to meeting you.
