I'm not going to have to time to go the northern part of the island I don't think. I could do diamond head probly but where do you park to get in the water. I don't scuba just freediver and spear.

North Shore is a whole 20-30 minutes away, depending on how (or more correctly when) you go. Like I said, Diamond head is one that I would only do with tanks, its a long swim out and you'll be out in boat traffic. If you want to stay near southern shores, stick with Rainbow Reef and Magic Island. Just don't go east from Magic Island, you'll be entering the channel for the Ala Moana marina and will likely get run over, beside there is nothing over that way.
