O2 toxicity in deco chamber

Also, I was told that a safe pp is actually closer to 2.0 while in the water. Dr. Deco, is this accurate?
Depends on what you define as 'safe'.
In my definitions, ppO2 of 2.0 is safe enough that I'd hit that depth without hesitation to assist someone in trouble, but would consider it foolhardy to plan a dive to that level.

It's not that I think that a ppO2 of 2.0 is safe, that is what the Dr. and Hyperbaric chamber tech told me for IN the water. I will stick with a ppO2 of 1.3-1.4 while I dive.
