When annual o2 cleaning your cylinder valves, do you rebuild or just pull apart and clean, when the valve is functioning without problems?

While it may not be 100% necessary, if you are pulling apart the valve and cleaning it, you should probably replace the o-rings and seat anyway. The parts are cheap enough and you are already doing all of the labor.

I always replace the o-rings, you are only talking about 2-5 o-rings (depending on manufacturer, and type of valve), cost is less than a $1 for viton.

IMHO, the Stem o-ring (-010) should always be replaced along with the neck o-ring (-214). If you have a manifold or plug those o-rings should be replaced (-012). I believe the only valves that have an o-ring on the Bonnet nut is Dive Rite (015), and XS Scuba.

I replace o-rings and burst disks annually with O2 cleaning. Cheap and easy, no excuse not to replace 'em once you've got the valve apart. Besides it's difficult (at least for me) not to destroy the burst disk during the disassembly process.

I don't generally pull my O2 valves apart and clean them each year. I will instead on alternate years flush them with blue gold, rinse them and dry them with O2 clean air. That's based on the assumption that they are seeing suitably clean gasses and that I'm not doing 150 dives a year with them.

The seat is what sees constant exposure to O2 so if I take the valve apart that will get replaced along with the o-rings.

I think the standard from Global is that you don't have to replace the burst disk and they don't recommend replacing it unless the tank is also being hydroed. Agree that if you remove the burst disk, you should replace it

I replace all the orings and crush washers if any those are cheap. I do not replace the seats every year as I have over 15 cylinders a the seats do not wear out enough. I have no idea where you guys find cheap seats I can only have them for about $6 each. I only replace them when they wear out.

I do not replace th birst disks yearly either. Why would you do that? If its unscrewed then yes you have to replace them. The ones that come as assemblies are also not cheap.
