Hi! Where do you think would be best for a divemaster cource - Lembongan, Pulau Weh or Komodo area in Indonesia? I'm a (Padi) rescue diver, but I don't have a lot of experience.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated...
Thanks

I can recommend Pulau Weh. We were there in March and dove with Iboih Dive Center. Like you I did not have a lot of experience but the guide (Mur) and I am sure all the others too, was great. Very safety conscious. All guides are qualified Dive Masters.
The diving is great, we saw Manta's, Reef Sharks and lots of reef fish. It's like swimming in fish soup. The currents can be a bit strong but the guides always check on the strength of the current before a site is dived. If need be they go to a different site.
All in all a really great experience. We will be going back in September. It is really the best value for money I have found in Indonesia so far.
