Day before yesterday, I flew home from a diving vacation, and the flight time was very close to the end of my computer's no-fly time.

That said, here's my question: I woke up yesterday with my left pinky finger numb. After the normal morning routine, still numb. It stayed numb (numb: tingly, feels weird when you touch it, etc) until sometime that afternoon, then it slowly went away.

Could this be a minor case of the bends? I think it could also be from sleeping on my arm, but I'm not sure that I did that.

??
Thanks,

Jonathan

Just a pinky finger alone makes it unlikely DCI for 3 reasons:

Rarely are small joints affected [fingers, hands, toes];

If they were, its as extension from the whole nerves distribution so it includes other symptoms;

DCI uncommonly resolves on its own within a day.

Some other cause than gas phase formation would be my guess - same as Saturation sugested :crafty: .
