Nice to see some 'Sea Goddess' here. Sea goddess is a widely used name applied to various clades of Nudi. Is this name used for Dorids exclusivly? Wikipedia divides all Nudibranchs between Dorids and Aeolids.

Nudibranch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Djtimmy77's Gold Crowned Sea Goddess is a Hyselodoris acriba, on the other hand Ashas's Red Tipped Sea Goddess from the Sea of Cortez is a Glossodoris sedna.

Glossodoris sedna is a successful species, originally found in the Eastern Pacific and Sea of Cortez it has possibly colonized the eastern Caribbean.

Here is one from Socorro Island, Mexico where it was the predominant species of Nudi last May.

I posted this photo in another thread, but thought it would be appropriate here as well! I found this guy at the beginning of our first dive, and my dive buddy got some great photos of it.

Nature really went too far with that one. :)
If it were larger it could be a parade float.

Don't think we have seen this one yet. Picture taken at Porteau Cove Provincial Park north of Vancouver on a sunken boat.
