Hi,

I have recently reviewed some of my nudibranch photos before uploading them to my photography website.

However, I am not entirely sure of the ID of some of these nudibranchs and would appreciate it, if someone here on this forum could lend a helping hand in positively identifying these species. Or, if this is not the proper forum to post such a question, direct me to one that is more appropriate!
I started this thread here because all photos were taken in either Kenting or on Green Island.

Here are the species in question (click on image to see bigger version). I have written the name of the nudibranch I BELIEVE is shown underneath, but sometimes the shape/coloration/texture/markings are slightly off:

Species 1:

Phyllidia carlsonhoffi? Or Phyllidia madangensis?

Species 2:

Phyllidiella pustulosa?

Species 3:

Chromodoris geometrica

Species 4:

No idea at all which nudibranch this is! Maybe a Tritoniidae species?

Species 5:

Glossodoris pallida?

Species 6:

Phyllidia elegans?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Thomas

PS: This is a repost from the Taiwan forum as it was pointed out to me that the Name that Critter forum is more appropriate for IDs. (I am pretty new to ScubaBoard, so it's live and learn for me here)

Sorry, I'm no help at all with IDing but I did want to comment that your photos are great! :)

Thanks, Wantonmien,

I'll try the NudiPixel link later or tomorrow. Have already tried the Sea Slug Forum - a similar website - yesterday, unfortunately not to much avail.
Ambertiger suggested that I contact Neville Coleman in Australia directly regarding nudi No. 4 as he couldn't ID it either in any of his books on the matter, and he has a rather substantive collection. If the NudiPixel site comes up empty I guess that's the way to go... .

annasea,
Thanks for the compliment. Glad you enjoyed the pics!
Check back once in a while as I intend to add more images to my website as time allows.

Cheers,
Thomas
