Headed to Nubble to join the Discover Diving group going there for a night dive. (Full moon) I left from work to get one dive on my own before the others showed up. As I arrived, it was about an hour after low tide with small wave action but vis looked ok from the surface.

The water temps increased significantly since my last dive on 14th. Water temp at depth is now 46 (was 39 before) The vis was OK (around usual 10-15 feet) and certainly not as good as last time. For my 1st dive, I went to the other side of island and encountered a HUGE school of fish. Don't know what they were but were about 6 to 8 inches long. I hung out for about 5 minutes watching them swirl around me and letting me swim through them. Was sooo cool! Lots of bugs! They are definitely out now. Also came across a nice sized lobzilla and plenty of winter flounder, Sea Ravens. I found and fed one of northern reds. It was a bit surgy but it didn't affect me.

In at 6:26, bottom time 51 min, max depth 64 fsw. Surface temps in low to mid 50s.

Dive 2, in at 8:26 just as sun was setting. I took my buddy from the group to the other side. We did 45 min bt, 61 fsw max depth. As we descended, came across a fish attacking a caterpillar worm like thing. Had it's milky white goo coming out. Pretty cool.

Great evening.
