Went in at 7:40ish. High at 5:15? Sunset at 8:05. Surf at Long Sands was decent - maybe chest high. Mucho surfer wannabees out ln the water. Winds out of the west. Seas in the South Cove out of the SE but not much surf, mostly just a very strong surge up against the ledges. Interestingly not much surf in the North Cove either but a lot of surge down under as I discovered when I got wet. Water at 20' feet = 50*
Viz sucked at 10 - 15 stretching it. Lots of surge down under as I said. After I got out at 8:45ish the top had really calmed down to just a lapping on the ledges. Saw one bug that was almost a keeper [for a trap, not me] and a small flounder. The fish are coming back. As well as the fishermen!! Lots of floating crap in the water - mostly young plant growth that the surf is tearing apart. Hope the conditions improve over the next few days.

Good report. I hope to get to Dive Nubble this Summer. One of my favorite in ME and NH.
Not much Flounder, huh..

I am now in the Rockland, Me area. Scouted out entry locations up there yesterday. Have not been in yet this year.

Good Luck
