H2Andy:
Can a woman with implants scuba dive?

yes but they don't tell you you have to carry 20 lbs of
extra weight to get your possitive bouyancy back.

Personally I use extra weight to achieve negative buoyancy...... Sorry :-)

I have been out on dive boats with some guys in NJ who have so much stuff strapped to their drysuits, you wouldn't really notice if they were taking a tuba or not. They may as well take one, they are taking everything else along on the dive.

i once saw a guy who had sidemounted a (what is the PC term for midget?)
in full gear. the little guy was the diver's spare brain.

(like... this is not true... ok?)

OK folks, a bit more digging , looks like they mean an SMB !

I just got this picture of turning up with a huge musical instrument and found it funny, but then again I'm English.

I believe that "Mini Me" would be an appropriate term to use in this instance.

The equipment is usually included with the dive rate but you may want to bring your own suit, fins and tuba.

Imagine the excess baggage charge for all my dive kit and my TUBA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :06:

Now how would you strap down a tuba DIR style??

Paul

I'm not sure why, but I find the thought of misbehaving implants pretty funny.

Ok, can someone explain misbehaving implants to me?
Paul

I dove with a guy in Roatan who had so much stuff stapped to his BC(knife, light, slate, sausage, spare light, laser, you get the idea) that his nickname for the week became CHUCKWAGON! It stuck and was very funny!! :eyebrow:

Now on most dives it wouldnt be considered necessary, but if you are going to an underwater orchestra meet, then it would get put in the drysuit thigh pocket - simple that is where most stuff gets stowed.
