They supposedly are building a reef aqaruim open to recreational paying divers in Chicago. I say supposedly because they announced it a long time ago and I don't think they have done much about it.

I've been following the Nemo 33 from its inception. Awesome concept way, way beyond the astronaut training pool in Houston.
I keep eyeballing the 6'-deep pool in my backyard and hearing a little voice in my head going, "18'...18'...18'...dig it, and they will dive..."
It's a lot better than the other voices in my head, and safer for the general populace.
An 18'-deep grotto would still be a lot cheaper than a BMW 760.

I almost took the plunge at Epcot this past Oct., but at $140 for (1) 40 minute dive it was more than I was willing to spend.

Plus all the fish looked sick... lack of UV light they said to me.
