well.. i did it, my first dive with my new bp/wing setup this morning, fantastic, truly amazing, never again will i use a jacket style bc, took my second dive to at least get my octo/gauges/light setup someway half decent, btw anyone have any pics to show the correct location and way to attach these badboys nice and neat?? anyhoo if youre thinking of going with a bp/wing, i say do it!! on the surface i laid back and didnt move a muscle and was extremely comfortable,at depth i didnt have the rolling effect mentioned somewhat here, i'm using the recwing with no sta, also took a bit to get the fit of the harness right, but after a while.... like-a-glove....:) what the hell was i doing with a big bulky bc in the first place ill never know :) the more i dive the more simplistic my setup is becoming and i love it :)

May I hand you a nice, cold glass of Kool-Aid?

I just got mine dialed in yesterday.

The switch to bp/w rocked my world more than any other equipment purchase I have ever made. (Tho I may alter that statement once I finally go dry!).

I usually mount my octo on a D ring on my right side shoulder straps, using a snorkel keeper looped around the mouthpiece. The hose routes under my arm.

I'm wireless, so no console, but if I had one I'd clip it off on a belt D ring to my left with a bolt snap.

While I have done some diving with another's bp/w prior to my purchase, I finally tried out my own set this weekend.

7 lb backplate and a 3 ml wetsuit and.... no freakin weightbelt!!!

Everything else was the same as my previous experience, perfect buoyancy and no rolling.
