I dive and lobster where the vis usually isnt great. I have a 8C cell Pelican nemo. The light is plenty bright for me on fresh batteries, but starts to fade quickly and buying 8 C cells is very inefficient.

I like the pistol type grip of my nemo. I am looking at the Princeton shockwave LED, but also the Scuba pro 230 nova. Both have similair burn times (>12 hours). I dont mind the 8 C so much if I can get the hours out of it. The nova would be nice with only 3 C cells.

Anyone using the nova as a bug light? thanks.
