We lost our Springer Spaniel of 10 years, Shelby, in March of this year. After getting settled into our home in Riverview we finally found a new pup, this time a 9-week-old Brittany Spaniel we named Rosie after Katherine Hepburn's character in The African Queen. Now we'll just need to find a pet friendly beach where she can play...once she gets a little older.

The young fella holding her is our son, Chad.

What a cute puppy!! I hear there is a doggie beach in Venice, near Sharky's. Maybe someone will post directions as I have a yellow lab & would like to take her there as well. Congrats on your new baby!!

It's called Brohard Paw park and it's just South of the pier next to the water treatment plant.

Awe little puppy. So cute.

someone is offering me a white sheperd pup as its daddy is going to be overseas much longer than anticipated. However, I already have a shepard and a lab

There's a dog beach at Fort DeSoto park, Pinellas County. Very nice, actually!
