I couldnt find a dive buddy, so I had to stay dry all weekend. First time since before Easter I couldnt dive. I'm going through withdrawl. Hopefully this doesnt happen much more this year.

Mmmm, similar problem, i dove saturday, but had some thing to attend to on sunday that meant no diving for me, i like diving both days! After a few weeks off last month due to sickness and travel i want to really get back in the swing of things. I think i managed at least one day per week for about 12 weeks straight earlier this year, mostly due to SB trips. There are tons of buddies in FL, so not too much trouble. Do you post any trip ideas in whatever forum covers MO, to try and get your fellow SB'ers out in the water?

At least i have about 8 dives planned this week, 2 wednesday (sick afternoon ;) ), two each on friday through sunday in SoCal, so should start catching up a little!!

I hope you find some more buddies to get out as often as you like, in the meantime feel free to cyber dive ;)

Uh, Bob, I thought that you were originally going to Mermet the 17 and 18th, but said you couldn't make it. :11: I was there and several others from your own area. Fantastic thing about Mermet is that if you do not have a dive buddy they will find you someone. Besides, I'm always willing to dive with someone that doesn't have a buddy. In fact, Murph and I adopted a 19 yr kid from your area this past weekend that didn't have a buddy and only dived about once a year at some resort or another and looked out after him keeping him shallow, 60ft max.

So is there some other reason that you couldn't find a buddy or have you been in my shoes and just couldn't afford to go one weekend. :06:

NOT TRING TO START A FIGHT, JUST CURIOUS. AND JUST TRING TO GET MY OWN FACTS STRAIGHT. SO DON'T BE MAD.

Yea, but the fantastic thing about Rolla is that it's 3 hours closer for us.... ;).

Sorry Bob, but I'm sure you'll have no troubles finding a buddy at the treasure hunt Saturday!
