NOT a seasickness question.......really. Shore Dives info request.

Both my wife and son get a touch of seasickness so we have always tried to shore dive and snorkle whenever possible.

Where are the best places you've found to shore dive from? My personal best is Bonaire but I am looking for something like that I think.

ALSO.......
We are scheduled to go to the Great Barrier Reef next Sept 08 to attend the wedding of a relative but we would like to dive there as well.

Does anyone know a place to stay (resort etc etc) on the GBR that would be nice to shore dive from. Green Island? Magnetic? We don't get down under very much anymore so I wouldn't mind if we have to spend a little more to get something really nice.



Any help with the planning would be very much appreciated.

Bonaire is the best shore diving that I have done, but take a look here for some ideals.
