Hey SoCal,

Wow, your Channel Islands are really something. I was recently fortunate to be a part of a 3-day liveaboard on the Peace, where we had ourselves some tremendous diving! The boat brought us to some great sites on San Miguel, Santa Cruz and Anacapa, kept us well-fed and well-filled, and everyone came away with an experience they won't soon forget. I just thought I'd post a compilation of some of the video taken on the trip:

Glad to see that the weather was amenable enough so that you guys can make it to San Miguel. I didn't realize that the Peace does 3-days trips? I thought that they only do 2-days trips leaving at midnight Thursday?

Glad y'all made it out there as well! (Captain Eric and the Crew must've gotten good practice hauling up all those X-Scooters). . .

Thanks all. San Miguel was a bit cold and hazy in the morning, but that wasn't a concern once we were below the surface :)

Fnfalman, we may be talking about the same thing. The boat left Thursday at midnight, and we returned midday on Sunday after 3 dives. So it's more like 2.5 days. Sorry if I was unclear!

Was it 2.5 or 3?? frankly it's a bit of a blur... that many dives and some awesome divers it was hard to keep track. Even passed up a dive or two to get a breather... maybe because it was that awesome.

Breathtaking.

Thanks for doing the video, it allowed me to relive some of the awesome experiences of the dive. All the meals were cooked dairy and gluten (wheat, etc) free and no one really knew!

What a fun video -- brought back all kinds of great memories! I don't think Team Bunny will ever recover from the dose of scooter crack offered during the weekend, though.

What a great three days, that proved the value of similar training and similar gear. How many things got traded/lent/fixed during three intense days of diving? How many impromptu pairings or trios jumped into the water and had a FABULOUS time?

How long is it until next year?

I didn't starve afterall.

Seriously?? I had NO idea. But wait, what the heck was I pouring into my cereal every morning? :shocked2:

Do standardized meals mean we're going MREs next time around? :D
