I'm going to Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, over pesidents day weekend. Can anyone pass on information for diving opportunities or sites (fresh or salt) for that time of the year?

Salt point is right in that area, and when the ocean is right, it is a great dive. there are lots of shore dive access points all along hwy 1 just pick one with an easy acess, as some have quite a steep path down from the road. when are you going?

There is great diving on the sonoma coast. However, it has been pretty windy and the ocean hasn't been ideal. Fort Ross, stillwater cove, gristal cove, all easy beach dives and even better if you have a kayak. to check conditions call 707-847-3222
there is a lot of info about diving this area on the internet. if you are hunting be sure to check fish and game laws, they are always changing.
