If going to East End from West Bay stop for lunch at the Czech Inn in Bodden Town on way back.

Good idea, and if they leave very early in the morning for the drive to the EE, they will be able to relax and take it easy after they get to Savannah and Bodden Town, so they could stop and have a leisurely breakfast on the way. You are very familiar with that area - where do you recommend for breakfast?

We usually prepare breakfast in our apartment or condo so I don't know the good breakfast spots on GC, other than the weekend breakfast at the George Town Yacht Club. We tried Cimboco in 7MB once, but didn't like it - too noisy and crowded; but I don't think they should stop until they get beyond the more popular areas and leave the risk of traffic behind.

I rarely eat breakfast if I do I usually try "Eats" or "Cimboco" (Five for five there ….$5.00) because I am not diving that day and running around doing stuff. I don't know of anywhere on the East End.

I see that the Eagle Ray's Bar and Grill at Compass Point Resort serves breakfast, so that will be an option if they don't find someplace to stop before arriving.

We love Eats Cafe - we hit it a few times every trip as we stay close by on 7MB.

Kathy I will have to try Eagle Ray next time I am on Island....actually will be there from Oct.8 through Nov. 7

We eat at "Eats" several times a trip I like their variety......between "Eats" and Czech inn is where most of our meals are.

Coconut Joes does a massive English style breakfast through lunch time and it is very reasonable. Rackhams also has a great breakfast. I prefer Treats to Eats although have been to both. Tons of places do breakfast as residents often will grab something as well as tourists. The breakfast sandwiches at Papermans are excellent. There are oodles of choices. As long as you are passed GT either direction for rush hour you are golden. Unless there is an event like the Agricultural Show or Orchid show driving to the EE is a breeze on weekends and holidays. New roadworks are well underway that should help alleviate the rush hour traffic . Also Icoa is wonderful for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
