Does anyone here ever dive the Atlantic Beach, NC area? I have family there and hear that there is very good diving there and am interested in a dive/family visit trip!=-)

I dive in Wilmington ... south of Atlantic beach ...
and love it.

There is another post on here titled "North Carolina trip" you might want to check out...it has a review of my recent trip to Morehead City, which is in the Atlantic City area. Also check out the North Carolina Wreck Divers board. www.olypmusdiving.com is a good place to start looking as well.

There is some good diving there, but I would wait until July/August to go when the vis. and weather are more cooperative.

Just got back from a week of diving out of Morehead City, which is about as close to Atlantic Beach as it gets, and the diving is possibly the best in the US, certainly the best wreck diving...

I'll have a report of the trip up soon, PM me if you need something specific.
