Looks like Southwest Airlines is resuming the Nonstop Austin to Cozumel flights on Saturdays starting in March. They sure aren’t cheap, so I am sure will be discontinued after a couple of months like the last run. But, here’s hoping they stick around for us Central Texans!

March is a long way off... :^(

And American has continued Saturday Austin to Cozumel flights since last year. The service drops during low season starting August 19th and picks back up on Saturday October 7th.

Through DFW, though.

Flight AA 3562 on Saturday is a direct flight from Austin to Cozumel and is operated with an Embraer 175 aircraft.
I see that now. It's a small plane, so scale down your carry-on. ;^)

I'm no
Not really, the 175 is pretty roomy, no middle seats.
I'm not familiar with that specific plane, but I have found in general that smaller planes' overhead bins are smaller and will not accommodate some pieces of carry-on luggage that will fit overhead in larger planes.

We have taken the Austin/Coz American flight and while yes it's a smaller plane, our Carry on bags fit totally fine in the overheads, and I still overpack!!
