If you are running WindowsXP you can use MovieMaker that comes with XP to resize those movies. I think MovieMaker only comes with XP though so if your not running it you may need some other 3rd party tools. You can goto www.vcdhelp.com, this is a resource for converting movies to VCD but they have a lot of info on the site as well as tools that can perform compacting of movies too... some of the tools are freeware some are not though...
