I have a Mares MC2 RGBM console with the add-on compass module. The problem is I dislike the compass. It is a lot pickier about being level than the Oceanic compass on my old console.

The compass module is in a custom housing that screws in to the top of the console, and has what looks like a standard compass inside of it. I just cant figure out how to remove the compass from its housing so I can swap it with my Oceanic. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove, and if so how? Did I mention I really dislike the compass that it came with?

The housing isn't flexible like most console boots are.

Thanks
Nathan
