Sometimes as we get caught up in our ever busy lives, it's easy to forget what's important. Memorial Day is an important day to remember those that have served and sacrificed. When you sit still for a minute and realize what these men and woman have done for our freedoms, it's sombering. I'd also venture to say that whatever you imagine our military has gone through since the birth of our nation, isn't even close to reality. Only those who have served know.
