Going to Coz shortly and wife does not dive. She likes spas and massages and pampering type activities while I dive. Anyone have any suggestions or good experiences with that sort of thing in Coz? When I try to find it on the web, I get escort services. Not what I had in mind for her.

Thanks

Good Luck! You might check out the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel. The don't have much now, but do have plans to open a spa later this year. You should be able to get the info you need from the concierge there, whether or not you are booked into that hotel.

You might check what's available at the Iberostar and Occidental. I know that they have massage facilities, but am not sure about other "pampering activities". Both are all-inclusive, and at the south end of the island.

Have a great time.

If you take a look at the Mexico forum, you will see that it has Cozumel sub-forum.

I have taken the liberty of moving your inquiry here.

BTW, the Occidental Grand has very nice, new spa.

Best regards.

I got a decent massage at the beauty salon in the Plaza Las Glorias last June. Wasn't very expensive... almost put me to sleep, I was very relaxing, though the shop wasn't the Taj Mahal. You can dive off their pier while she's getting the massage
Have a blast. I'm going to Coz this Tuesday- Sunday

Hiya:

You might want to look into the Occidental Grand. My wife and I are going there in April. It has many pluses, including the spa and other stuff you mentioned, but it is an all inclusive and is not convenient to town.

Hands down is the nicest spa in Cozumel. A very good friend of mine gave me a spa day gift for Christmas to this place. It was the most relaxing, most pampering I have had since moving to the island. It is very peaceful, relaxing, professional staff, clean, and actually reminded me of something I would see in Dallas or Austin. Let her treat herself to a facial and a massage! It is at the corner of Ave. 10 and Calle 10

They also have a very nice workout room fully equipped with the latest fitness machines and they have pilates classes. I am now a regular here and signed up for the pilates classes as well!

Another good place for haircuts, manicures, pedicures and massages is Shampoo which is located on Av 5 just south of the main square. Not as luxurious or sheek, but they do a really good job.

If you are staying at one of the all-inclusive resorts, they all have spas as well.

Alot of choices here, but Aqua Spa is definitely my favorite!

Have fun!
