I could care less as its really free advertising. I usually piss some *** hole off who takes it upon himself to try and punish me but they are just pissing in the wind in my opinion. Most people realize there are two sides to every story. for one disgruntled customer I have thousands of satisfied who repeat and repeat. He's probably a Republican anyway. Trust me one quote doesn't make an idea reality. Here on the Scubaboard the consumers are intellegent and anyone reading this thread would not do business with you. I am not sure which "side of the story" justifies using profanity on a potential customer. I am sure you have thousands of customers, I am not sure how you found time to worry about one small transaction to the point of being abusive toward the customer. Your response sounds quite hollow. Scuba diving could do with a few less people like this. My LDS has this type of attitude so I travel 40 minutes more to one with a good attitude and I spend more than I would locally but in the end I will be diving long after my local LDS shutters it's doors for good.

Ok, so the only thing he has on me is the captain's license. I consider my 18 specialty instructors certifications equal to a captain's license. Does this mean I can open a DS and treat people like $h17?

Well, with a reply like what he gave you and the one to the orignal poster, I wouldn't spend a dime with this guy. He's basically "free advertising" that he's an self-proclaimed "***-hole" that doesn't care about his customers.

Considering this is essentially life support equippment we are buying, I wouldn't trust buying anything from him since he just doesn't seem to care.
