No countdown timer?

Can you tell me how to remove that line?? I went to the box to put in the ticker and there's no line there... I backspaced to be sure the copy/paste right up the edge with nothing else in the way.... This is what I get... A cut off ticker.... Please, educate me on how to fix this....

The progress indicator in your sig is bigger than the bar it's on, causing it to use more space.
