What application are you using it for? A dive shop would have different needs than a backyard blender. I PP blend but I just do it for myself and my friends. I also frequently use mixes over 40% so the other methods won't work for me.

The "stik" has you feed O2 into your compressor. This has a negative effect on it, shortening its life. If you service your compressor yourselves, be prepared for the added maintenance costs. The stik is also best used to fill large banks of nitrox, as it is not very consistent in a start stop type of filling operation, and really must be limited to 40 percent to avoid possible compressor explosion.

The membrane system is good, more consistent than the stik and can be used without banking and still be very accurate, but is limited to 40 percent and is slower filling than the stik.

The third option I know of, is the one the shop I work with will be upgrading to. It uses lift pumps that allow you to blend after the compressor. It can handle helium and oxygen at the same time, and the operator simply dials in the blend they want. Its quite expensive from what I have seen so far, and once it's up and running I'll have more info on how it performs. That should be in about 2 to 3 months if all goes to plan for the shop.
