Nitrox conversion for old US Divers Reg?

How about taking it a bit easier on him Randy. He's asking because he wants to learn. Something a lot of US should do more of.

The reg is should work fine with EAN <40% with standard service. I have only run into one reg that a manufacturer has given us, in writing, that their reg was not to be used with nitrox.

I know it's an thread but I had some additional questions. Is the US Navy diving Conshelf's w/ Nitrox? The first stage diaphram for the Titan and the Conshelf are the same part, it seems to be a Buna rubber compund. Is there a special Nitrox compatable service kit for the Titan only? Any other thoughts on why the Conshelf isn't Nitrox compatable? (Besides that Aqualung wants to sell more reg's :) ) On the Supreme is the Silicon grease behind the secondary diaphram an issue?
