How could I find out what the use of testosterone cypinate does in relationship to nitrogen release. I know in the warnings on the package it says one of the effects is a slower release of nitrogen from the muscle tissue. Is there a Doctor in the House? (Or Pharmacist) Thanks.

I don't believe they're talking about inert N2 (the thing we're concerned with as divers w/r/t DCS), but rather metabolic nitrogen compounds. I'd be very surprised if there's any significant effect on inert gas loading.

I suggest contacting DAN (Divers Alert Network) at 919-684-2948. They are experts in dive-related medicine and should be able to answer your question. Their website is www.DiversAlertNetwork.org.

Well I am glad that this was resolved before I even returned to the Board!
