Just been looking at liveaboard options for Raja Ampat for early 2015. The BM charges $12 per refill for nitrox. Assuming 4 dives per day, this adds a whopping amount onto a 10 day trip. Is this the norm ?

They will also have a Nitrox package for the whole trip. It will probably make a big difference.

For Similan it is 4000baht. Email them to ask.

Well if they do offer a fixed charge why isn't it advertised on the website? Other liveaboards make it clear that there is a 'per trip' cost. I'll email and ask and post back.

The Indo Siren offers Nitrox for free... as are the beers!! Double whoop whoop.
But friends have been twice on the black manta and loved it both times so I'm sure you will not be dissapointed.

Going Siren for Komodo 2014. Just about to confirm dates and pay deposit. Have decided on Mermaid I for Raja , unless siren fleet can match their prices ...;-)
