Hi,

I am thinking about a Niterider. Their dual 14 HID seems tremendous, with the ability to put a diffuser over one lens for video while keeping the other a spot, not to mention the widely adjustable brightness.

Any users here who can give me feedback on these lights?

Thanks

Guy

I'm not Niterider user but on your place I'll avoid low power HID because of maintenance costs that could which may occur ( even that new ballast is much , much better that old one )

On your place I'll look on http://www.mb-sub.com/twinled-cave .

But there is another problem - OSRAM OSTAR 21W leds don't exist any more ( but I don't know if MbSub made some replacement for these leds - because lamp is very nice)

One guy made similar lamphead on CPF for bikes and modify it for diving . He sells them for fine price ( but there you have to do some homework on tank )

I've used mine for video and it works rather well. That was before I replaced the battery this year so I a interested in how much brighter things will be.
