Yesterday was all about KISS...here's another simple pose:

Really nice photo's! I haven't been brave enough to take my DSLR diving yet...well, also wavering on the cash for a housing - the ikilite is over a thousand clams for my 300D! How long have you been using your current UW setup?

So, How cold is the water this time of year?
Thinking about Ningaloo for end of Sept/beg of October....thoughts? Or should we save the trip for another time of year?

Sorry for all of the questions! :D

Thanks for the kind words :)

Couldn't go without another slug...these guys are tiny, tiny! Thuridilla indopacifica

tazzmeyer - Water yesterday was about 21-22C (71F) where we were and some other sites are a few degrees higher. We wouldn't expect much more of a drop as we continue through our winter. We might get 19C on some sites, but most will stay around 21C as their lowest. End Sept/early October can be beautiful here, but the mornings and evenings can be cool. I'd still expect water temps to be 20-22C more or less. Lots and lots of marine life - but we have that all year round! If you want more info, please PM me or hit my Dive with Me green link - it will take you to our web site.

I've had my rig since late 05, I think...

There's a record of the water temperatures around Exmouth/NW Cape/Ningaloo on my web site recorded over the last few years:

http://www.gudgeon.id.au/Diving/index.htm

I really need to update it with the data from the end of last year up until now.

For above water climate information have a look at this:

http://www.weatherzone.com.au/climate/station.jsp?lt=site&lc=5007

Learmonth is the airport that services this area and is about 35km south of Exmouth.

Excellent work, fine examples of the wide depth of field from the 60mm macro. The sharpness of the scales on the sea snake goes on forever.

Great shot on the snake, but the colours on that 1st nudi !!! ID pleeze ?
