I got my cert on Kauai a few years ago. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of year for Niihau and I was told it requires AOW certification to go there. I loved diving the turtles cleaning stations though and was lucky enough to have the dive boat surrounded by pods of spinner dolphins a couple of times.
I now have my AOW and around 150 dives. Looking forward to diving Niihau the next time I get back to Kauai. Perhaps even this year as a stop over on the way to Fiji!
