Night dives are my favorite, never had any problems with red worms.

Blood worms abound the two times I have done night dives at Blowhole. All over the place. Very fun dives regardless of that.

I prefer night/evening dives. The critters are much more active. Once had a huge sea lion swim by @ 110ft right through our lights. Pretty cool.
