Lil' Irish Temper:
My weekly score,

I also found a Russel Wright plate from the 1930's but it's chipped :D

I have a box full of 'em in the basement that aren't chipped. All the matching bowls and serving pieces, too. Bet I'd like 'em more if I found them in a river!

Common or not I like you little green bottle.

Paula

I think it's a Larkin Smelling Salt bottle, but I'm not sure.

The second one isn't mine, but it is a Larkin Soap Company smelling salt bottle.

I'm not a 100% sure but it sure looks the same.

We found a spot on Squaw Island near the International RR bridge today looking for an entry point, and for some spots were we can run lines, and the viz is about 15 feet.

We found a spot, but you have to scale some rocks to get to it. Should be quite a cache of artifacts in this area since it's rarely disturbed by divers. :D

So if anyone gets over this way, let me know.

When are you going out that way again?

And........ the better question is........ When are you going to get a boat for your team? (Naturally, of which I'm a part of) :)

Team, Ha !

Me, a Buffalo fireman, a 65 year old scuba diver, or whoever else will go. This spot is one of the fastest moving area on the river.

8-12 mph :11:

That's why we are running rope from rock to rock, and using screwdrivers to jam in the bottom to keep us in one spot, and to move around.

But the reason it should be a great spot is it's directly across from Fort Erie where Fort Black Rock once stood on Squaw Island during the war of 1812. It was also where where the grey-clad troops of General Winfield Scott overcame the British and the legend of West Point's Long Grey Line was born.
