Hey guys,
I am about to complete my SSI AI next weekend and was wondering if anyone was holding a SSI ITC soon?
Thanks

contact your closest ssi facility that is certified to run these.

The closest one is still over 100 so might as well contact all in USA.

Plus I'm looking for a private that would combine IDC prep with ITC prep...

I don't think IDC is relaly a thing in SSI - that's a PADI thing, right? SSI does the ITC then the IE (Instructor Evaluation), which as I recall has to be with separate instructors/evaluators.

There's ITC's and IE's listed on the SSI site (Live Your Passion - Create SSI Divers and Become an Open Water Instructor (OWI) Today) but I would also say to reach out to Mike S. (NA Training Director) and see if he can recommend an instructor trainer who might fit your requirements. If it were me I'd be looking for someone who has enough active classes going on to get you in the classroom and in the water with a good instructor setting the example. When I did mine, we were integrated in with the regular courses that the shop had going on for the "in water" parts.

Basically, it's possible that there may be a great trainer out there but they may not be formally running an ITC so worth it to ask for a referral to a specific trainer and see if they'll do the course for you.

Idc is not an SSI thing and ITC is not a PADI thing. But in regards to the prep, their is quite alot of overlap I believe?
