Newport Diving Center has brought back Night Dive Madness.
Night Dive Madness is a once a week no cost to dive, except if you need to rent gear, event that NDC sponsors.
We meet at Newport Diving Center 550 Thames St Newport RI at 6:30pm and head out to do at least one ad usually two dives and one of the many RI shore sites.

The Schedule for May is:
Tuesday 16 May
Monday 22 May
and Wednesday 31 May

Since this event is sponsored byb the shop our only requirement is that participants be at least AOW or Night Dive Specialty Qualified.

Come out and Join us, you'll be glad you did.

Is John doing the night dives again or is someone else leading it?

I will be leading the ones I can. The DMs will be leading others. Wife and I have a baby due end of June so my leash will be getting a little shorter.

Congrats! :D

By the way, for anyone that is interested in doing this, I went on several of these dives a couple of years ago and it was usually a lot of fun.

Thanks for the plug. That is why we are bringing it back. Everybody who went on those dives kept asking for us to start doing it again.

22 May 2006,
Tonight we have a NDM dive scheduled.
Tom Howarth will be leading the dive(s) for me.
We are keeping an eye on the weather. While it is bright and sunny out here in Newport. The wind is out of the south and fairly strong. There are white caps out in the Bay and I am sure all of our southern dive sites are going to be pretty rough.
If anyone who is attending has a suggestion for site that would be in a lee. please let me know.

thanks.
John

Any night dive dates for June? I'd like to join you folks for at least one night dive this summer.
