Newly certified OpenWater Diver! Ready to blow bubbles!

I've just been certified! Yay! Now me and my scuba buddy want a neat place to go so we can use our skills. Here's the dilemma, we're both in college (Go TennTechUniv!) so of course we have NO MONEY :icon10: and we live in TN,:fork: so the ocean isn't very accessible. Help! No money and no water! Our fall break is coming up in October, we were thinking of maybe trying the coasts of SC or AL. FL almtree: would be great if there's anywhere that matches our price range...which is minimal! We're newbies too, so we're not looking for anything too exquisite...that'll come later. I'd love to hear some ideas!

Sorry the response has taken so long, but I really like this idea. We're both into the outdoors so camping is a great (cheap) alternative that would probably be a lot more fun than a hotel! Good advice, thanks a bunch!
