Newly certified Advanced OW diver

Hey everyone! My name's Kari and just this past weekend I got my PADI Advanced certification. I'm a Marine Bio student up in Juneau, Alaska but got certified on exchange in North Carolina last year, have been down here in South Carolina at an internship for the summer and got my Advanced cert here, and am heading back to the parentals house in Idaho to do some diving in the nearby lakes of Montana. I'm a member on NWdiveclub.com and they recommended this site too so thought that I would join. I love meeting new people and hearing their dive stories, especially if they're coming to Alaska for cold-water diving any time soon because I'm currently in search of another dive buddy!! I like all kinds of diving (my favorite being Wreck diving so far) and I'm a fish fanatic (especially sharks). I could sit at the bottom of a river and just watch the fish. That's about it !!

Welcome to SB! Did you take a dry suit course? I prefer the warm waters of Thailand I really want to try diving in cold water, for me it will most likely be in Norway to meet up with some friends.
