The Freedom plate was always, and will always be a single tank only plate.
The channelled doubles plates are better for doubles of any size or cofiguration.
I have fit doubles to a Freedom Plate with success but it involved a very complex set of brackets and the end result was that the tanks still need to ride on your body for support. The full value of the Freedom design is not realized with double tanks attached.
