New to the sport so I figured I join up. Gotta be alot of experience here, so I'm sure I can learn alot.
My name is Chris and I'm 32 years old. I live in central florida, have my whole life. I've done alot of snorkeling in the springs around here and been on a few air dives, figured it was about time I get certified and really have fun. I look forward to being a member.

There's alot of info here and plenty of choices. You'll find lots of answers to questions and many qualified people to answer specific ones. Just be sure to post your question in the right section. Remember that a good diver is an informed one. Have fun.....

Now about that warning about me....umm, oh nevermind..you will find out soon enough! LOL
Seriously though, check out the Conch divers forum. That is where you will find the local stuff. Any trip posted is an invitation to join the fun. A bunch of us will be invading, er, I mean heading up to Ginnie Springs in May. You are welcome to join us.

Welcome Chris,
I'm new here too, but planning to dive down your way - not sure where you are exactly - but any advice on Ft. Lauderdale/Miami diving or nightlife would be great I'm flying in on the 20th of May & don't ship out with Blackbeards till the next afternoon..... lookie at that - you're a Newbie & already being asked advice.....
