Hi, I'm a US expat in London, UK. I've been lurking for about a month, reading the "What did you buy that you regret?" discussion. I hope to not ask too many stupid questions.

Time to introduce myself.

Open water cert 4 years ago 40years after I fell in love with diving.
Yes, I was 6 when 'The Undersea World' came on air and I never missed an episode.

Summer diver in the Boston, MA area since, with a big interest in conservation.

Now looking for flight carry on-able equipment, advice welcomed!

I'm considering the aqualung kit.

hot shot fins
Zuma BC
Micron reg
micromask

I need a suggestion for a compass/computer that can handle both hemispheres as I'll be diving both North Atlantic and Indonesia.

Looking forward to reading more and diving more.

Cheers!

We're not going to send you money, we realize your e-mail and phone were hacked.:D But welcome to the forum. Dive Scapa Flow yet? Or is it in your plans? Where have you dove over there?

Hi,

Haven't been to Scarpa Flow yet. All my diving has been in the water south of Boston (MA, USA).

I manage that in a 7mm suit with a 7mm hood/vest combo under. I'm not really interested in the dry suit and quarry world.

Hence my questions regarding flight ready gear.

I was in Bali on a non-diving trip and did some snorkelling - never again... lovely as it was, I wanted a tank on my back! There are times when coming up for air is just too much of an interruption. (yeah I know, preaching to choir)
:blinking:
