There are members of this board from all over the world, it seems..and it's always fascinating to hear different perspectives, and about some of their experiences and then imagine visiting/diving some of these places.

You say you are based there, are you in the military?

Hope to hear more of what must be an interesting life!

Oh, in case you haven't, check out the list of forums to post on/read...you'll be amazed at the diversity of the topics and the knowledge base of these divers.

Nope, am not in the military.
Based meaning living working and growing up in Singapore.

It's a lovely place surround by water and more water, great for diving and sun activities (add to that it's hot and warm all year round!)

Thaere's lots of diving spots in SEA (South East Asia), ie Malaysia Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines...
Do come n dive if you hv the time!

Howdy Beth2!

Singapore sounds so exotic and wet! I bet there are a lot of great dive sites close by. My best friend is from Nanjing, but she doesn't swim and I can't get her to even think about scuba.

Scubaboard is a great place to hang out with other divers and everyone here is very helpful.
