It's a lovely place surround by water and more water, great for diving and sun activities (add to that it's hot and warm all year round!)

Well Beth, you certainly know how to make a Canadian envious, :sunny . We are about at the end of "warmish" diving and they called for a frost last night :eek_2:

Hope to hear more about the diving and the marine life, etc... ...you have piqued my interest enough to add Singapore to my wishlist

Ooops correction though, Singapore itself does not have clear crytal blue waters to dive, too murkish!!! :11:
......but is located such that it is surrounded by many good diving spots like Malaysia (ie Redang, Perhentian, Tioman, Aur, Dayang. Layang Layang, Pangkor, Sipadan) , Indonesia (ie Lombok, Bali, Manado), Thailand (ie Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Krabi). :jump013:
Great for a base to make weekend getaways!
